Chronos is the musical creation from talanted 20 year old musician & producer Nick Klimenko (aka DJ Shankar) from Moscow, Russia.

Chronos' style is between ambient/ethnic influences and chillout/trip trance vibrations. The Idea of creating chillout and ambient spheres was born in early 2002. Day by day he gets more knowledge about this electronic subculture and is constantly collecting cds and information.
His sound has become more deep and more emotional, it is more harmonic and stylistic than trance.

He has experimented in many various atmospheres by going to many interesting festivals, parties, DJing chillout sets, playing live etc. Since those times, the idea of creating chillout, ethnic & ambient music was strongly focused in his mind.

He has travelled alot around Russia and other countries buying equipment creating a studio and getting more knowledge in religion, paranormal activities and modern technologies. All of these aspects combined create the way of life and musical experience of Chronus.

He has also been influenced by some really magical and talanted musicians and bands such as:
Asura, Aes Dana, Carbon Based Lifeforms (C.B.L.), Aural Planet, Healer, Solar Fields, Enigma, Simon Posford, Entheogenic, Cell, M-Sphere etc.
